Guy Glodis was born and raised in Worcester’s Quinsigamond Village. He was elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 1996 and to the State Senate in 1998, where he served as the Chairman of the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Public Safety and then as the Chairman of the Joint Committee on Insurance. In 2004, Glodis was elected Worcester County Sheriff, and over the past six years has put into practice numerous reforms and new programs.
